Although the first impression is that Viva Piñata its a kid’s game, I’ve decided to give it a try due to the colorful and bright graphics.

After playing for a while, I found out that the game itself is actually more than that.

You start with just a few simple tools to develop your garden. From time to time various animals (or piñata) will join you and settle down in it if a certain criteria is reached. So, your aim is simple just try to attract more piñata to your garden.

Summarized points are as follows:

- quite relaxing, no boss fight
- each piñata has its own requirements for residence, so you won’t get bored so easily
- you’ll gain new stuffs like tools or abilities over time
- the learning curve is great for a simulation game
- the game has its own depth, you can name your piñata as well as buying accessories for them which will affects its value
- NPC are available to aid you when building your garden, some of them are free
- reminds me of Animal Crossing & the classic Harvest Moon

Personally I think the game is pretty unique, addictive and absolutely suitable for all ages.
